It was a bad breakup, but everyone knew they would eventually kiss and makeup. The dispute is over. Showtime is back on Time Warner / Brighthouse TV. Our long wait is over. (I told you they would get back together in time for football season.)
CBS-owned programming including Showtime, TMC, Flix and Smithsonian are back on TV screens of Time Warner cable customers. Bright House Networks Chief Executive Officer Steve Miron said in a statement: "We certainly apologize to our customers for any inconvenience they experienced as a result of this dispute. The goal was to hold down rising costs as best as we can and retain our ability to deliver a great experience and value for our customers. We thank our customers for remaining with us as well as their feedback, support and patience."
CBS boss Leslie Moonves said in a statement: "This was a far more protracted dispute than anyone at CBS anticipated, but in spite of the pain it caused to all of us, and most importantly the inconvenience to our viewers who were affected, it was an important one, and one worth pursuing to a satisfactory conclusion. That has been achieved.”
At long last, the dispute is over. I don't know how much they love each other, but I do know that they both love money. Losing revenues from the football season was too much for either of them.
Service was restored at 3 pm on Monday September 2nd.

If you love cute little doggies, you'll love this plush terrier. I bought one for my son when he was little and he literally loved it to death. It's on a shelf in tatters now; he loved it so much I couldn't bear to get rid of it. Click Here to get one for someone you love.
The cute picture of the two dogs kissing is from http://0.tqn.com/d/webclipart/1/0/u/9/6/Kiss-and-Make-Up-Day.jpg
